MAPOESIE COLLECTION

An impenetrable forest of signs where patterns and colors call and provoke each other, brush against and collide, but always end up flying away in the softness of a cotton, wool or silk veil. At its edge, embroidered on the label, slams this name: Mapoésie. The title of a manifesto? Yes, but perhaps even more that of a graphic epic that Elsa Poux has been writing alone, or with the complicity of a few guest artists, since 2010, in the manner of the interwoven narratives of Antiquity, this creator trained in The National School of Decorative Arts in Paris entwines the motifs of a very personal mythology, inspired by ethnic cultures and artisanal know-how.
